A 2338 this week with Treloar on the pine has me up to 950th overall after being 87k round 1, very happy with my march up the ladder so far.

I'm $800 short of a straight Otten to Rockliff trade. Might be a moot point though with rockys shoulder. Could bundle WHE in to a double with some dpp action as I have yoyo in my mids currently, rookies are a bit thin on the ground though, Myers not screaming "pick me."

I dont think he will miss either but i have a recollection that he got injured years ago and didnt miss and then made the injury worse. Would look at him after his bye

Move up 16k places to about 8k with a round of 2390. Pretty rapt. Feel my season is starting to take shape.

What are people's thoughts on Myers? I'm not sure he's the lock that everyone thinks.

I have 310k spare and looking at a possible double upgrade. Thinking possibly:

Otten > Cripps
WHE > Dusty via DPP

That would give me a midfield of:

Dangerfield, JPK, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Oliver, Martin and a loopholed rookie at M8 for a couple of round before upgrading to a premo. I have DPP flexibility on all lines as a bit of coverage.

Meyers is a lock for me. Perfect type for a downgrade for mine. I'd reconsider if there were actual reasons people have cold feet ...

As to ranking - just over 2,100 this week saw me rise about 600 places to just outside top 20K. Sorry of my year. I've scored between 2,000 and 2,150 almost every week and overall ranking is very average and improving at a snails pace.

Why? Granted his BE is still around 100, I think he represents great value at 510k.

I personally think, this year more than ever, that finding value is critical given the limited cash generation from rookies.

Because of the reason he costs 510K instead of 610K. Reportedly injured his groin in R4 and has been disappointing in SC terms ever since. Not saying don't get him ... if he shakes of the injury, maybe after the bye, he'd be a great pick up.

Myers 100% in for me too. I'm sort of glad he had a couple ordinary outings first up, may scare away a few potential buyers. He will only improve, midfield minutes will be ramped up in coming weeks and his JS is rock solid, barring injury he will play out the rest of the season.

Hard to argue with this. Very solid trades.

Not a fan of dusty in SC, purely a DT player. Gets a lot of ball but disposes at about 50% sometimes

I'm hesitant purely because he's playing a very outside game on a wing. Only 7 contested possessions and 1 tackle across the first couple of weeks. Not getting large amounts of the pill either. Saw him do a couple of nice I50's on the weekend, so he's probably done enough to hold his spot. People seem to think his JS is locked - but he's only played 10 games 3 times and 20 only once across his 10 seasons so for mine he's not that far off a trip back to VFL.

But at his price and his negative BE he's an easy pick. But I'm not expecting him to play every game or to average much more than 60.
