Agreed w/ J-Dog. JJ over Gunstall ... too much doubt to start him with Roughy out, right?
I can't even start to make a case for Hill or Cyril. Care to share your thinking there?
Ha! That's a good way to look at it!
I'm completely sympathetic to the pressures of young kids and new jobs - just pleased to have the boys back.
Early days but seems like their thoughts are pretty close to mine so far.
I'm inclined to think Shaw is probably worth paying for in the back...
I've got cold feet on all those mentioned. Haven't got a couple of the high priced ones I probably should have (Shaw & Hodge). Got to concentrate on getting them I think.
PS. Already have Doc. Happy enough but wouldn't be falling over myself to bring him in if I didn't have him.
I think I'm more keen on going TBC up to Ryder. The main reason is trades.
If I go TBC down (1 trade) then I'll have Reed sitting around on the forward line bench doing nothing ... so I'll have to trade him to someone (2 trades) ... then if Brooksby gets dropped I'll have to trade again (3...
I'd love to take action on him ... but what? He's my ruck cover. Could go up to Ryder. If Ryder was getting a game. Could go down to Boothby ... but he played a pretty poor second game. Could turn him into a keeper forward ...
Gee. That is a tough one. Agree with the other posters De Goey and Lonie and Rockcliff will all have to go in the next couple of weeks and become non round 12 players but that still isn't going to net you 18 live round 12 players is it.
Don't think I'd be contemplating axing Parker though...
There is no denying he was a amazing football player.
Unfortunately for me his legacy will always be tarnished by the Peter Craven incident.
Fantastic football player, not much of a bloke, IMO.
Sorry to add a down note.
Oxley Moron! Love it!
I've been calling him "The Cannibal" after the rap star Cannibal Ox ... but Oxley Moron is so much better. "The Moron" he is from now on.
