I ended up on rank 1118 with a score this week of 2813. Got so close to reaching that top 1K but still super happy with my best overall season. Looking back through the rounds I was stagnating at rank 21K at round 6. Highlighted trades I did during that time was to go Heeney to Worpel round 3...

I was so worried about Gawn not playing and then he comes out with this monster performance! Love to know if anyone had the C on him.

Do we have any news about Gawn? I guess the good news is that if there is a late announcement we only have to wait till the 3rd match of the round to do a quick trade

I guess one thing to take out of the season is that when you get to the pointy ends of things, season averages don't count for much in league games. Who would have the guts to trade out names like Cripps & Neale and replace them with Lyons & Worpel for instance!

Worpel is a solid choice. Roughies last game as well so the team would want to send him out on a high. Small % chance that Miller tags him but you would think he would go to O Meara first.

I have 4 trades left myself and I am thinking of using 2 to bring in Treloar for Rockliff. This will hopefully strengthen my mid lineup and negate a POD which my upcoming opponent has. As long as there are no surprises with the team sheets!

Ended up putting the C on Gawn so happy with the extra points. My highest scorer is Cripps so far. Anyone had the C on him? Looking back at his scores it seems like every 4th game he is captain worthy. Wonder what that means for Round 23 haha!

Same, you gotta assume most people would have gone set & forget with Grundy as VC. Makes for an interesting captain choice this week. A touch under par, usually the cut off is 125 this season.

Shame you can't do all 3! I am also most likely to pull the trigger on option 1. For me it was hold Hurn with his old man calves for a week and turf Andrews for Whitfield. Banking on Hurn coming back the week after as I much prefer the solid scoring of Hurn to the inconsistency of Andrews.

With the Hawks winning & Sicily turning it up hopefully that's the end of Clarko's experimentation with him!

I'm in the same boat in regards to defence. With Hore out and losing 60K from 2 weeks ago my original plan of going Hore to Whitfield might need 2 trades. I'm now leaning towards Sicily as his price is too hard to ignore and revisiting Whitfield when his break even is lower.
