    Players X. vs Y. vs Z.

Yep. I'd really like to take on Grundy because he hasn't demonstrated a high ceiling yet but if there remain big questions over Goldy and Sandi then Grundy looks the safest pick.

    Players X. vs Y. vs Z.

I've got a similar delemma i.e.I've worked out that I want Goldy or Sandi at R2 but I'm not sure which one and lots of other decisions with my team flow in from it. Here's my take: I'm worried about Sandi being an injury risk so if Sandi can't prove he's fit and firing in the JTL then I'm going...

    2017 Forward Primos

Well argued. I like the Roo pick as well. When I first sat down to do my team I rated the forwards: Dollhouse, Macrae, Caddy, Roo with (at their respective prices not a heap between them). KPF I usually look at as upgrade onlys.

    2017 Forward Primos

Re: Macrae What's been wrong with him? I watched about a half the Dogs v Brisbane game and I didn't notice anything too wrong with him (to be honest I hardly noticed him at all). I suspect the Doggies might not have been trying too hard.

    2017 Ruck Cover

Yep, fair points too. A few days ago I thought the cupboard was looking pretty bare for mid rookies so the idea of putting the donut in the mids seemed appealing. With Wigg and Barrett playing well I might swing back to the R3 donut.

    2017 Team Structure

New plan now I've seen Dayne Beams play: 2/0/6 3/4/4 1/1/1 2/2/4 $800,000 in the bank for early upgrades.

    2017 Ruck Cover

OK, so assuming Cameron is selected Round 1 I pick him at R3 and Meyers at M11. Meyers acts is out four the first 4-6 rounds so he acts as the loophole during this time. The Dons early fixture: Round 1: Saturday Night Round 2: Saturday Night Round 3: Sunday Arvo Round 4: Saturday Night Round 5...

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

Dayne Beams. A quiet 15 touches at 93%DE in the first half ... if Sandi plays well this week there is some chance there might be 100,000+ identical teams in R1.

    2017 POD's

Sounds like he might be in more than 4.8% of teams on this forum! One of the first midfielders I picked this year and hasn't left my team since.

    2017 POD's

Don't mind it. I think if you're going to take a risk then you should go for someone with a massive ceiling like Gazza or Rocky because if it comes off you'll get a huge boost. Not much point taking a punt on someone if their upside is 110-115 that people will be getting from the standard pick...

    Supercoach Gold? Rip Off...

I think it is the DT scores that go up live on FanFooty. SC scores come up a few minutes after the end of the game.

Will be an upgrade target for many if his body holds together. Definitely a POD for the first 8 rounds.

    2017 Midfield Primos

Yeah. There are a few teams including Collingwood and Richmond where I think it is very difficult to predict where they will finish and injury (or no injuries) to key players is likely to be the deciding factor. The best 22 teams at Richmond and Collingwood look pretty strong and I could see...

    2017 Midfield Primos

So ... Treloar. Seems very popular with lots of smart coaches this year. Averaged real primo numbers for the first time last year. Very durable. Should be entering the peak part of his career. Has a SC friendly game although he does chop it up a bit (just from my observation I haven't actually...

    2017 POD's

The POD could be betting against a couple of the popular picks if you are going for the overall win rather than winning your league. Betting against Danger or Gawn or Fyfe could pay off in a big way if 80% of serious teams are on them and they get injured in the first minute of a game or...

    2017 Team Structure

I think you can scratch this guy from your starting team. From what I understand he's been injured since he joined the club and is still a way from joining the main group. Plus with the Tiges fixture he's useless as a loophole. Mid season downgrade option only ... and the Tiges are going to be a...

    2017 Rate My Team

There are a lot of breakout contenders in this team - players who haven't yet preformed to full premium potential - Caddy, Heeney, Grundy, Mills. Add to that at least three who have just performed at keeper level for one season or less - Zerritt, Treloar, and Bont - all three of whom you will...
