Was going to bring Shaw in when he bottomed out but I'll be holding off now ... seriously doubts about whether he'll reach genuine primo output this year. I'm feeling for everyone who started him because I thought he was a safe pick and I very nearly started him too.

Oh no ... I was wondering if this had happened to anyone. Cruel game, but going early on Newman is one of the cruelest turn arounds in recent times ... probably since some people moved early on Cripps in his rookie year.

Probably no trades for me this week. I've already used six trades. I've already got rid of my midpricer problems like Roughy and Jaegar. None of the rookies really look like they have made enough money and maxed out ... I'll probably given them all one more week and maybe bring in Aaron Black...

iPhone app was better last year than this year IMO. This year it is slow. Slower. Trading players is not very intuitive. And I still can't work out how to look up how another player is going without setting them as a rival.

Bloody hell. Good job everybody else. It is probably my poor performance holding us out of the top 20. :( Ranked 28,000ish and I've make a couple of complete amateur stuff ups this year with loopholing etc. Mad with myself. :mad:

2246. I had a 45 point buffer leading into the last game with Pendles and Adams to play and my opponent had Grundy and Treloar. Went down by 22 points. :mad: Pendles great player. Let's me down in SuperCoach surprisingly often at times when he is the difference.

And I went Gawn to Dusty last week ... cast iron Dusty who has missed two or three games since he debuted in 2010 ... next minute: groin strain, a score of 50odd, and in doubt for this week. :mad:

I agree. Just wait for him to post a couple of decent scores. His price will stabilise. Then hop on before his price starts to rise.

Yup. Good call. I'm happy that Doc, Shaw, Adams and Laird should all be top six or just outside. I'm certainly watching Lloyd with interest but I'd like to be a little more confident with what is happening Sydney. Roles may change a bit when more players are back in the next few weeks?

Heath Shaw the main one who I'll be looking at early I think. Dropped around $30K already and will drop more. If I can get him at about $500K in two or three weeks I'll be pretty pleased. Then I'll have collected the full set of Doc, Shaw, Adams, and Laird.

Gee, I'd be fascinated to know what the hell is going on with Hanners and Parky. Still round about the play ... not obviously carrying injuries although both, especially Parker, had interrupted preseasons ... just look like regular players at the moment. Kind of insipid. No X factor ... Both...
