    This is a bit my thinking as well. If you decide he's looking fit and playing well as a single ruck after the bye you can bring him in then. Yes it will probably cost you a bit more but his prices is unlikely to go really high I'd have thought.

    He is a pretty bad loophole. Plays early in the round for the first six weeks. You can use him for Pendles or Treloar for the first couple of week and then basically can't use him at all for the next three or four. Of course he might be in the team from week two ...
