So we can use 5 trades. Well this is going to be interesting. Not sure how many after this round each week, but having 5 to start round 2 may make it very interesting.
Some real decisions to be made, prices will start moving at the end of R2. Get on those high scores from R1 to grab some early cash may be the order of the day.
Anyone got a view on some rookies to keep an eye on for RD 2? - Darcy Cameron from the Pies is looking a possible selection. RUC/FWD DPP - Rankine (FWD) from the Suns missed Rd1 with hammy strain but possible selection?
Also anyone else get sucked into Dylan Roberton? Keep or trade? Stephen Hill DEF/MID Freo would be the obvious straight swap if fit.
Yep straight out for me - with 5 trades and less time to tolerate cash movements down - he is gone! Like Hill but could be a defender rookie drought - so make some cash with Premo to Viney and then fold that into an upgrade. can we trust Viney?
No, we can't trust Viney. But what we can trust is the money he will make. Easy $100k plus what you can pocket from a downgrade.
Are T Brown $123,900 and J Noble $215,400 must haves? I hate Thursday night games. Will have an hour once teams drop to sort thing out.
Don't know about must have, but Noble seems to have a spot that's his to lose. Hard to get a read and Thursday night doesn't help at all.
Just answered my own question...NOTE: Once a round has commenced you will be unable to reverse trades!
Yep. Still leaves me with 25 trades over 15 rounds. I think many will use all 5 trades this week. With the shortened season I think everything changes. Normally you'd like to get a fully-premium team sometime about rnd.14-15 and come home really well. This year we don't have sufficient rounds to do that. Fall too far behind early and you won't make up the points difference. So I'm aiming for points-on-field over maturing-rookies. Albeit with care. I'm not sure I'm explaining myself well.
