8 premiums....The turnover of players is quite amazing when you look back on it this way. Most teams would have started 11-13 premos in round 1 so to have changed 1/3 of them through injury or poor form is crazy. Shows how trading plays a huge role in SC. A good starting side helps but smart/lucky trades separate the pack.
9 all up... 6 premos (7 if you include Rocky who was out then back in again) 3 rookies (Walla, Grimley and Menadue)... 3 Premos I regret starting with but just never had the opportunity to trade out (Sidebottom, Rich and Hall) so you could say I only selected 3 premos correctly at the start of the year.... Fair reason I've ran out of trades and I've only just been able to sneak into the top 26k after being 60k after round 10
Shaw, Laird, Bartel, Dangerfield, Selwood, Hanners, Goldy, Stef, Martin, Wells, as well as Libba and Hall who I'm undecided on. So 10 premos left. I think from memory on top of that I started with Fyfe and Rocky as well.
Can you count premos that you started with who you subsequently delisted, then drafted, I think I have two of those
Shaw, Hurn, Danger and Goetz, only 3, wow I've been smashed with injury and turned over 26 players but a small amount of trades remaining in bank.
I haven't traded a player if he wasn't either LT (2+ weeks)injured or a rookie upgrade so it appears that I have been caned by SC gods but the team is pretty sound aiming at 2500 score this week.

Shaw, Laird, Danger, Shiel, Goldy, Gawn as full premos. Josh Kelly, Hickey as mid-pricers. AMT and Grimley as rookies. So 10 all up although 4 of those are primarily bench cover.
I've held Laird, Neale, Danger, Parker, Sheil, Gawn and Wells. Also Marcus Adams and Grimley.
I have traded in and out JJ and Zaha (Injury and poor performance).
just one trade left and carrying Lids with Silvagni/adams as cover.
some of my trades could be considered good/bad decisions depending where you stand. Should I have started with them? should i have traded them? (Eg: Hall, Ablett, Barlow, NicNat, Rich, Libba & Rocky). (Held barlow and laird for ages, traded rocky and nicnat straight away)
From my point of view, I am in the top 1000 and have never been lower overall than 3500 (round 1); I am on top of all 3 of my cash leagues and scored 2560+ last week. Predicted 2500+ this week.
Not perfect but not a failure. So many things could have gone another way and i could be right up there. My best year so far and am really looking forward to 2017.

The one thing i'm taking from this year is to back my gut. I have given this very advise to numerous people but didn't do it myself. Another year another lesson.
