Dumoulin is another one worth taking but I wonder how much he's going to work now that he has his 2 stage wins and is focusing on the time trial at Rio.
And don't forget there's another ITT which I imagine Dumoulin will concentrate on.
After he won the first TT he said that it helped that he didn't do much work during the stages leading up to it.

I was really tempted to bring in De Gendt and Majka due to KOM competition.
Then I read a few previews and they tipped Zakarin and Costa and Izagirre and ...
So I'm going with my first thought and waiting until the amnesty to trade.

Feillu and Gallopin if I was playing.

Great post, Grater - keeping up your quality effort!

They finally updated the time trial scores.

Ranked 124 with a score of 2420

Won't win though. 3rd place has stage 18 as his bonus - same as me. So I need him to bonk and me to smash it. Maybe I can fill a minor place? I need to really smash it though. He's on 2827.

Nice work, i dropped a couple over night unfortunately but still happy.
Very unsure who to target the next couple but my lack of knowledge so far may help as i don't think to much about it. lol

A warning: I just experimented with a few transfers and it looks like the loop-hole has been fixed.
Any transfer you make today will count against the 8.

You could have reversed trades before you confirmed it btw. I'll check it later this afternoon and see if the loophole is set up.

Still closed.
Luckily, I noticed before it was too late to do a reversal.
But the amnesty should still be operating tomorrow.

Cav has abandoned. Makes our final trades for the Champs a bit easier.

I'm down to 5 trades with Froome, Quintana, Porte, Mollema, Yates and Meintjes as my main men with Sagan for his green jersey points.
For the bonus ITT stage tomorrow I'll make at least 1 trade to bring in Dumoulin, which I'll reverse afterwards.
That will leave 3 trades to get in sprinters for the Champs.

No chance of winning. Bean Choked on 2979 points still has his bonus stage 18, same as @Grater and mine, to come.
But I reckon Grater, ranked 113 with 2557 points, and yours truly, ranked 138 with 2520 points, have a good chance of finishing near the top.
Bean Choked is the only team in the top 20 with the bonus stage still to come. If Grater and I can nail that stage we can gain a lot of points.
The 20th ranked team has 2897 points. If we can get all top 5 riders we gain 327 points for placings plus jersey points.
That puts us right amongst it.
A big "if" but one can dream.

I've got 5 trades left. This is my team for tonight

Chris Froome, Richie Porte, Jon Izagirre, Nelson Oliveira, Tom Dumoulin, Georg Preidler, Steven Cummings, Bauke Mollema, Jerome Coppel, Movistar team.

Hopefully the lack of Valverde doesn't hurt me. I'm expecting a Movistar or two in the top 5.

Looks good to me Grater. Not that I'm an expert.

I've gone a slightly different way.
In common: Froome, Porte, Oliveira, Dumoulin and Mollema
Different: Aru, Bardet and Yates
Aru because I think that he is starting to come good and although he isn't a good TT rider this is more a climbers TT than normal.
Bardet because he is sounding confident "it's a TT that suits me, I love the Domancy climb. It's a real mountain pass. It is a course on which you really want to enjoy yourself."
Yates I already had and didn't want to use another trade.
I considered more Movistar riders but they look to me like they just don't have the legs. Valverde looks best but I'm not convinced as he did ride the Giro.
Also considered Coppel as he's a good TT rider but is he a climber? He didn't do so well in the Prologue to the Dauphine which was also an uphill TT.
Didn't think of Preidler or Cummings.

Anyway. Best of luck tonight Grater and hope one of us does well. Best would be if places 1-5 were filled by the 5 we have in common.:):D:)

Yes boy's all the best. Also for the leagues sake, we unfortunately have been slowly slipping and if you guys can give the total a shot in the arm it would be fantastic.

Coppel best of the first 100. Good for Grater.

Coppel, Oliveira and Izagirre all in the top 5 at the moment. Will most likely be in the top 10. They were my important picks. Have Porte, Froome, Dumoulin, Mollema.

Cummings was a bust. Not sure what Preidler will do at the moment.

That's absolutely my fault and I apologise unreservedly. I haven't been able to keep up at all, and have found it much much harder than I anticipated.
