Stewart vs Jansen... Who do I go early on (needs to be 1 of the 2).

I would go Trengove because he'll stay in their side, but that doesn't give me enough cash for Bont, and I need Bont.

Just when rookies were starting to look a bit thin on the ground, including some who's scoring potential looked speculative at best up pops some true downgrade options and most of them appear bye friendly. My list as follows not based totally on scoring but also js, mpp mainly for some and postion on ground where rooks reqd straightaway for either lti's or maxed out players $ wise who need to go.

1 collins
2 jansen
3 matheson - hey if he played this week he would be in a zillon teams already, plus had form in qafl on weekend.
4 Austin - i liked his game and his js sealed with chaplain, jonas etc issues
5 joyce - if he keep his spot his mpp worth the trade alone provided he plays rnd 14 and 15 for me.
6. Rose
7. Trengrove - wish him well and good luck but his inj history makes we put a line through him already
8. Stewart - js issues for me
9. Trent mackenzie - priced like a rookie due to 2 games out in first qtr injured.!!
Plus keeping my eyes out for Lee with the saints injury concerns, Otten in the twos for adelaide going ok and on Phillips for the pies. Collingwood need to blood more kids for me as they were a shambles on Saturday and they aint playing finals this year so why not..

Not as concerned with Trengove. He played 7 straight weeks in the VFL before being selected which is a pretty solid block of footy. Plus we know what we will get out of him, whereas the true rookies are a bit more of a lottery. At this stage of the year I want my downgrades to look good on my bench for the rest of the year and I think he fits the bill. No doubt guys like Jansen looked the part but I would feel better going early this week with Trengove and waiting on the others.

Each too their own i believe. If you prefer Trengove to jansen then your opinion. For me Jansen gets the chocolates as it suits my bye structure and saves 25k roughly which is the diiference between purchasing a zorko ir danger i think atm. Trengove i believe is the one who makes way for viney, bken had 30 in the twos, petracca looks the real deal so far, tyson carved on thd weekend and oliver needs games for fitness, he has the nous and reads play nicely already. I see their midfield as already full when you include jones, big bernie snd viney, with petracca, vandenburg, tyson as rotations it becomes hard yo find spot for him unfortunately.

This to is my concern, as much as i loved seeibg him on the park he has come in yes because he's been playing well but also to cover outs. Unless he puts out some huge numbers he will most likely be the one to step aside when players are available.

This is Ryan Davis' profile on FootyWire can someone explain to me why he'll stagnate price wise so quickly after this week despite the -10 BE?

I'm not really sure how projected scores work but my guess would be they expect him to go back to scoring 30s and 40s this week

The projected price change is based on projected scores. For any rookie, without any history to go on, the projected scores appear to always be that player's current average. As Davis' current average is 62 they are projecting 62s for the rest of the year.
His recent 90 and 84 will boost his price in the short term but soon enough the 62s will establish his price at around the $300,000 mark.

Sneaky Mail from a friend - Mabior Chol a strong chance to play this weekend for the Tigers. Will play as a defender though, not Ruc/Fwd so possibly not too SC relevant. Has a huge kick on him and takes an impressive mark!

I am the most anti Freo person you will find. Ross Lyon is a stain on Supercoach... And last week I brought in both Collins and Neale. Make of that what you will!
I assume your rnd.15 bye structure is OK?

I've planned for it to be... My trades through the byes should see me set up pretty well for 15. My bye plans hardly ever work out though, hopefully this year is different.
