Does anything desperately need to change? I’ve always thought it felt like Fantasy needs to change things to differentiate itself because it can’t compete with SC as a product. One of the main reasons I struggle to get into Fantasy is because it feels so gimmicky
The most glaring thing is the lines/positions players can be chosen on....... IMO it should reflect the position players play this year, not last year.

Bit of transperency around their scoring is an improvement I’d like to see. Better access to more in-depth stats.

Thumb surgery for Heeney. No contact for a month but should still get right for round 1. Hard to pick him now.

Josh Kelly has had his first full pre-season in 3 years.

My first instinct was that Oliver would be an auto-pick in the mids but on further inspection he’s only down 30k on last years starting price. Seems to be ‘safer’ picks around a similar price point?

A few points about Oliver:
he had double shoulder surgery in the 2018-19 off-season - or so I've heard
a lot of the Dees had off-season injury problems and started 2019 underdone - a lack of team cohesion would have impacted Oliver's scoring
he has played 66/66 games in his three full seasons with 111.5, 114.7 and 109.4 averages

Given these points I think he is under-priced and a safe starting pick.
He may not score as well as most of those priced higher but I think he's a definite top-10 mid.

I have both right now and would love to keep it that way. As @Rupert says Oliver is a durable, seemingly safe 110 with upside. A fit Kelly could easily average 120+ for mine even in the Giants midfield

His early draw scares me a little.

I'm with you mate. Plus I just love watching the way he plays his footy. I love the 'pure' footballers. Not much athletic ability about them, just great footy players.

Gawn has injured his knee, the report has been confirmed.
Severity is unknown at this stage.

Edit: sources say that he was extremely dissapionted as he left the ground.
What scares me the most is he knows all to well what an ACL feels like.

Is it that bad?
WC - Perth, GWS - MCG, Freo - MCG, StK - Marvel, GCS - Metricon, Richmond - MCG, Essendon - MCG, Port - MCG, Adelaide - NT, WBD - MCG

Devon Smith is at an interesting price: $335,800 - a projected 61 av.
That's way under-priced if he's fit.

Well it kinda depends on the Marsh series outcome and the available rookies of course. But currently going with 5.
