Looks like I am ranked 11th.

Anyone think Van Avermaet is worth bringing in just for this stage and then out again?

Also, might be good to keep track of riders here who fall out of the race. Sometimes that info seems to take a while to update on various sources.

The overall scores aren't updated. We're 2nd but it hasn't updated for a while. So fuck knows. We are on more than 1000 odd Rupert. Do you have a bonus stage to go?
Yep, the same one as you - the TT on stage 18.

@Fitzroy Guerrilla
No withdrawals - as yet - even with the crashes.
Best source in the official web-site: http://www.letour.com/le-tour/2016/us/withdrawals.html

Van Avermaet:
I wouldn't bring him in as I think he less likely to win than others at his price of 7.0m: Alaphilippe, Dan Martin and Kelderman.
Or there is Gallopin just as likely to win at 5.5m.
Or, if you can afford him, Valverde is a good chance at 8.0m

Valverde could be a good get as he will feature in the up-coming mountain stages as well. Mind you, I'd think he might be a bit more conservative today so that he is good to go for Quintana in the up-coming stages as well.

Given that he is also a show for a podium finish, do you think he will be allowed the latitude to get in a breakaway in this stage?

Yes. If Valverde goes for it today it means that Movistar virtually get a day off:
Movistar don't have to chase a break down
the other GC teams have to chase because although Valverde has said he is supporting Quintana he is enough of a threat to have to be countered

Probably not worth trading anyone in. Dan Martin reckons a good chance for a break. Sky and Movistar said they won't chase that much. Valverde wants to conserve energy to help Quintana later in the race (that's what he said before the race). So no one really to bring in.

So looking at Martin's comments, Ettix probably want the day off and send someone in the break or just relax ahead of tomorrow's sprint stage for Kittel.

Well, having just brought in Martin and Alaphilippe I hope someone wants to chase a breakaway.

I might bring Valverde in on the chance that he does something today with the knowledge that he'll be useful next week anyway.

Wondering if I should bring Matthews in or save the trade. It'd leave me with one, whereas two might be better to bring in both Froome and Quintana.

I wonder if Kreuziger becomes an option with Contador having had a few issues. I suppose he's the best support option for Contador anyway, so probably worth bringing in for next week.

I've finally managed to log in, and haven't used ANY trades yet! Who should I trade in?

EDIT: Valverde and Alaphillipe are faves to win the stage, so I guess I'll look in that direction. Pissed I took Sky as my team! Rookie mistake.

EDIT: I just made 3 trades! Did you know you could do that?

So Stuyven won't be in the jersey after this stage so I can trade him out for Friday for someone decent and then get someone decent with a sprinter. Perfect.

Those that brought in Van Avermaet will be laughing. Nice points for him getting top 3 on the stage and the yellow jersey

Well, that was interesting.
Apologies to @Fitzroy Guerrilla for my post on Van Avermaet. I never expected him to get in a break-away.

Personally, didn't do too bad from the stage. Even went up a few positions thanks to Martin and Alaphilippe.

The leagues were updated yesterday so they now show the rankings as they were before yesterday's stage.
Our league was 3rd and in good position as the top 2 leagues are filled with teams which have used their bonus stage.
